FrontPage World Tips and Tricks

How can I test out all of these FrontPage tools in a real online environment without paying Web hosting fees during my construction phase? 

Tripod.Com shocked a lot of people when they started offering FrontPage extensions on their free Web hosting service.  Well they've done it again and offer support for FrontPage 2000 and the rest of the Office 2000 Suite.

Signing up for a site there is free and easy.  This link will walk you right through the steps.

With Tripod as your home, you can take FrontPage 2000 to the limits and see exactly what it can and can not do.  If you don't tell the world you are there, no one will coming looking for you.

Once your site is completed, you can choose to keep it there (with their forced advertising and "interesting" naming structure) for free or you can open the site at Tripod and publish it to wherever your final home might be.  We'd be remiss if we didn't remind you that offer a choice or two of our own on that subject here.  There is just nothing like your own Web site with your own domain name.

1/9/00 - Our FrontPage Hosting page lists a number of companies who have free hosting with FrontPage extensions.  Obviously, they are advertiser supported to pay the bills.  Now you have plenty of options to choose from.
