If you work with Microsoft FrontPage then chances are you start your site building by providing Microsoft® FrontPage® with a Navigation Structure. This allows you to quickly and easily add graphical buttons and allows FrontPage to manage all of your links for you. When a navigational structure is created, FrontPage automatically creates blank HTML documents for you. After you apply your theme (if you're using one) or build your CSS styles, you can force FrontPage to use those elements throughout all of the pages. Unfortunately, problems start when you want to use a theme that requires a specific template. Better yet, you may want to build your own custom look, and whether or not you're using a FrontPage theme, chances are you have graphics, tables, and other HTML elements that have to be present on all of the pages for a consistent, professional layout. Up until now, you had to create that one template, then copy its contents page to page within FrontPage. That's fine if you're building a site that contains 10 pages, but what if your site contains hundreds of pages? This becomes a chore. Template Copier, part of PageTools version 2.5, to the rescue! Template copier will take that one page that you have build as your template, and apply its graphics, JavaScripts, tables, navigation bars, and all other elements to as many pages as necessary within your web site, creating exact duplicates every time! Of course the title and filename of the page is preserved.
Simply select your predefined template file, select all of the pages you want to apply it to, and click Apply!
