The Option Blue Web Template

Purchase the FrontPage 2000/2002 version template from FrontPageTools.com.

Purchase the FrontPage 2003 version template from FrontPageTools.com.

Getting Started:

This is the center table of the page where your main content will go. Feel free to add more tables and/or cells but just keep them within the confines of this table.

To install this template on your computer, do the following:

1. Extract the contents of the .zip file to a location on your computer.
2. Double click the setup.exe file and follow the instructions.

NOTE: The default setup location assumes that you installed FrontPage in the default directory on your computer. If you did not, please locate the directory where your supplied FrontPage web templates are stored and change the installation path of this template to that location.

For FrontPage 2000/2002, the default template directory is:
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\1033\WEBS

For FrontPage 2003, the default template directory is:
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\1033\WEBS11

To use this template:

FrontPage 2000/2002
1. Open FrontPage 2000 or 2002
2. Click File > New Page or Web (FP2002) or File > New > Web (FP2000)
3. Click Web Site Templates in the task manager (FP2002)
4. Select "Option Blue" from the template list
5. Select a location to create the new web
6. Click OK

FrontPage 2003
1. Open FrontPage 2003
2. Click File > New
3. Under New Web Site in task manager, click "More web site templates..."
4. Select "Option Blue" from the template list
5. Select a location to create the new web
6. Click OK

Modifying navigation:

The navigation files are stored in the "includes" folder.

Include pages make navigation maintenance real easy. Since every page in your web uses the includes page, simply making a change to one of these pages updates your entire site.

Adding new pages:

Use the template.htm page when adding new pages. Simply open the file and before you make any changes to it, click File > Save As and save it with a new file name. After you have added your content, update the include navigation pages with your new page.
